Welcome

Expertise in Credentialing New Employees

MPE provides expertise and transparency to health care organizations that are hiring new medical staff and looking forward to them beginning as soon as possible.  MPE understands the importance of maintaining their clients’ credentials with the insurance payers, not just for uninterrupted reimbursement but for accurate patient education.  MPE understands the regulatory requirements of this process and is able to devote the time needed that has become more than many practices can handle. Payer enrollment is a regulatory requirement which can hinder timely and accurate payment, as well as patient education about your organization. Payer enrollment is a lengthy process where the providers are at the mercy of the payer’s approval processes. The need for lead time cannot be stressed enough to make sure the provider is appropriately licensed. Enrollment can take from 60 to 180 days. Variables can affect the lead time needed such as if the provider is already enrolled or credentialed in the state, has issues, or if payer’s enrollment processes are backed up. Maintaining payer enrollment for individual providers has become a quarterly requirement. The Council for Quality Healthcare (CAQH), which many payers use, requires quarterly verification of individual provider data. Medicare Advantage plans are required by CMS to verify demographic data quarterly also.
Mission
The mission of Medical Provider Enrollment is to assist medical providers with burdensome administrative requirements which restrict timely and accurate payment by public and private insurers.
